ipad is most useless thing apple has made. They got enough money out of me buying an aluminum macbook then they quickly upgraded it to a pro, they scammed a lot of people with that bullshit. Make it right the first time and dont screw people over. iPad is one of those apple products they didnt get right the first time..maybe when they upgrade it and have more features ill be interested.

@Millahtime This will need several accessories for a plane. Some kind of kick-standholder to support it upright on a seatback table so your kidspousefriend in your row can watch it too. No way to pop the battery out when it runs dead on a long flight, so you will have to carry a plug in battery back to keep it going.
Any kind of camera will have to be a clip on accessory to pack around.

@chancesareshewears nothing useful? I have tried the iPad and my wife and I are going to buy the 3G model. To say that it does nothing useful is probably one of the stupidest things that can be said.
The perfect companion is the Nokia booklet..12 hours of battery life, fabulous contruction and the machine apple should have made… the iphone os is a very poor system for a laptop/netbook replacement…Have you actually tried an iPad out? It’s heavy in the hand, you need knees to use it (not much good on a plane) and it does nothing useful…
It does not Multi-Task. That is my main complaint, because as we all know, Multi-Tasking is a HUGE part of computing, and has been for a very long time now! I’m a little surprised that any new computing product would be lacking this feature that everyone is accustomed to having now days on their computing devices.
@Adon800 what does flash allow things to do. why is the ipad not good if it doesnt have it? i really dont know what flash allows
