What Is the reason why i don’t get the file box when i hold the shift while i select the restore button? Is this an apple fix so we can’t select specific firmware? so if i am interpretting your video correctly i can no longet revert to 3.0 from 3.1.2 with my iphone 3g. correct?

This is my reason to downgrade. my iphone 3gs(jailbroken firmware3.1.2) got a message saying “repair needed iphone cannot make or receive calls” and when i tried restoring it didnt work any ideas on how to fix this? thats why i thought of downgrading it. it does not let me do anything but make emergency call. i can still see some of the jailbroken programs i installed like the status notifier. i tried restoring it normally and by dfu mode.

Okay, my iPod is running 2.2.1. It WAS jailbroken, but i restored it with iTunes… I intend to upgrade to 3.1.2 — What do i do from here? do i really have to jailbreak, update, and jailbreak with blackra1n? – Please respond.

hey i was just wondering if you can help me?i jailbroke my iphone 3gs with blackra1n, and every time i reboot or turn off my iphone or when its flat and turns off by it self, it goes into recovery mode and the only way i can get it out is by re-jailbreaking it. i tried jailbreakinig it on a mac using pawnage tool 3.1.4 but that didn’t work

  10. sneaky156 says:

@shakiki1 That’s what a tethered jail break is. Don’t bother with a tethered jailbreak I’m waiting for an untethered to be released. Which avoids this problem and has the highest stability.

Got something to say? Go for it!
