how on earth do you get the little plastic tool into the case in the first place? I used 4 different pry tools and they’ve all broken and the back case hasn’t budged. Each one has either been shredded apart when trying to run it along the seem or snapped at the tip with the plastic still stuck in between the ipod case!

its a shame you dont provide a video on how to put it back together, my ipod wont be back after this surgery i just did. Oh well it was only 14 bucks at a pawn shop

We are working on higher resolution, more complete repair videos for the Touch, unfortunately they may not be available on youtube due to the quality / size restrictions. Visit our website for updates on our new videos.

It does fit. You have to get it in the groove.

@DigiExpress This is much harder than the video would suggest. the ipods in these vids on you tube have been opened already before the vids

  8. DigiExpress says:

The iPod Touch models are more difficult to open than some other iPod models. Please consider that our technicians do this everyday, so yes, it would look easier on the video than a novice attempting to open one. We highly recommend using our repair service for any of the Touch or iPhone models. Our labor cost is only $25.

  10. DigiExpress says:

Sounds like you may have shorted it.

Got something to say? Go for it!
