Im thinking about rooting my g1 cuz im moving back inï»¿ with my parents while i go to college and they have no wifi and i have a laptop and 1st gen touch and luckily they live in a 3g area where i get 2 to 3 bars inside the house so this would be perfect, im just waitin for the right time to root lol

Hmm..Try “forgetting”ï»¿ your G1 connection on your ipod in the wifi settings and then try reconnecting.

Yes, I’m noï»¿ stranger to rooting. My G1 has been rooted for over a year now. I have SU access and can tether to my HP laptop but Ipod disconnects as soon as i launch Safari.

Hey, Byron my Ipod Touch finds and connects to my G1 but as soon as I try to use safari it disconnects or it saysï»¿ no connection found. Did you do any additional settings in the G1 or Ipod?
