what does it mean if an enclosure can only go up to a certain amout of gigs? i want to put a 500gb in an enclosure but the encosure says it “supports” up to 250gigs.

hi…nice video…i have a question can you install 320 gb internal hard drive to macbook white laptop 13.3 inches?thanks

  4. deathofarocker says:

you can but you have to make sure it is 2.5 inches and 5400rpm or 7200rpm

  5. sheebs222 says:

if u get a 7200rpm doesnt that heat up alot faster nd make your fan stay on longer, not 100% if thats true but would like to know

  6. sheebs222 says:

Can you provide us with a link, or stores that sell HardDrives?

So if you upgrade your HardDrive it is totally safe(does it void ur warranty)? and how much do they usually cost? btw nice vid

  9. richboyhi says:

As far as I know, this does not void your warrany. Apple has made it very easy to access and even easier to replace. I have not had any problems with the new drive and the 7200 rpm seems to make a HUGE difference.A decent hard drive will run you from $90.00 – $125.00. You should not need to pay much more than that.

Got something to say? Go for it!
