@Rifalltoo I’m not trying to pretend there aren’t bad PCs in the world of course there are. A lot of people don’t want to spend lots of money on computers so there are slow cheap PCs which they can use, but a PC the same price as mac will be easily as fast if not more so. I own a PC and I’ve never had any virus problems and the only time anything has a hint of lag is on the internet because I live in the countryside with a bad internet service and guess what? It was £100 cheaper than a Macbook.
@devo85x Terminal and CMD are nothing the same. I’ve tried terminal, and CMD, and terminal takes a lot more knowlege. CMD is something anyone can learn. Point and case, I learned CMD.

@moe1900 That’s why I just play games on a console. It’s much less expensive, and gaming is all I ever hear about defending PCs. Unlike a PC, a mac can handle many things even with slightly (or in many cases overly) under-qualified specifications. Might be a bit laggy, but it can still handle it with relative ease.

You could boot camp to play games.
You said you’d have to build a new pc every now and then (2 years I’d say 1) but if you boot camp you’d still have to upgrade for games which means a new mac because you can’t just swap out some of the parts. All the programs for Mac are top notch and If I needed programs that did those things I’d definitely get a Mac for it. But I’d keep my pc for games.
Macs are good but right now it’s one or the other.

OS X is a good OS, I can’t lie, but when Mac’s have older specs (Intel Core 2 Duo Mac Books? Seriously?) For the money, I can live with Windows 7
Because PC’s don’t have to make special hardware just for their OS.
Cases on a Mac are solid, and fancy. Its like a filing cabinet in one of those things.
When was the last time you actually owned a PC, a lot of Mac Users I know upgraded from an old crappy pc running windows 98 or something. I’ve found that today, a modern PC of the same price of a mac is just as smooth and sleek, PC’s will probably get more bogged down with unnecessary programs as you said but anyone who spends the sort of money on a computer you need to get a mac should have the basic knowledge of computers which allows me to keep my pc quick clean and efficient with no clutter.
@TMNoob3 Well: I dislike OS X very much. And YES: I have both a PC, and a Mac. The mac is brand new. It has snow leopard. And cases? Have you ever looked around in a computer store?! There are awesome cases there! But yeah, that’s just my opinion.

Its true, macs are majorly over-priced, but pros are that it looks pretty and OS X.
Thats about it.
When I look at a mac, thats what I see, OS X and a pretty case.
The rest is really just low end specs. (Do not give me the Xeon bullshit, the i7 is just as powerful, and its made for everyone. Xeon are made for servers.)

Linux has that too… and have you ever heard of CMD? 7) Windows 7 is just as good with desktop organization as mac and I have seen more PC users with clean desktops than I have mac users.
Networking is EASY on windows… 9) I can control my windows PC with only my keyboard too… hell, some people control theirs with only a webcam…
1) It took a hacker 2 mins to hack into a Mac but took 2 hours to hack into a Vista PC (just google “mac hacked in 2 minutes” its the first link) 2) Mac is NOT Unix… it is based on Unix, but it is not Unix… 3) Nobody uses Macs (only 10% market share) so it is MUCH harder for viruses to run rampant… and look up Mac Virus on youtube… you can find a decent number of videos showing you how to get one from a website… 4) I haven’t had a windows machine crash on me in…(next comment)

1. Windows 7 is an amazing OS. It hasn’t crashed on me.
2. You don’t get a virus from Windows 7 unless you go to gay male XXX websites.
