    now I understand the cosmetic plus of a work station, but you have to be a complete retard to want that same form as a server since you can do the same crap with allot cheaper hardware which includes converting a normal mac for use as server. the hard drives in laptops are about 2x the price as the desktop relatives and are allot more unreliable..

    The “main” hard drive is usually the drive located closest to the motherboard (the lower hard drive in the machine).

    Question – I just bought a replacement drive from OWC as one of my drives failed, but I don’t know which drive is which. I need to replace my primary “Server HD” as that’s the one that failed…is that the first one (easier to remove) or the second one (with the padded stickers)?
