You can also take apart the macbook and put the plastic parts in a dishwasher (be sure to remove the motherboard, drives and battery first). It comes out looking really white.

I use rubbing alcohol and water (mixture) on a damp paper towel or washcloth. Wipes clean in couple minutes. Does magic eraser scratch plastic? I have read it can actually scratch stainless steel.

Kneaded eraser works pretty well as well and they won’t disintegrate (cheap too).
