   LOL, huge home made 2 channel speakers with a goddamn valve amp.you should try tube amplification eMeek. i’ve been surrounded by midi keyboards since i was a kid, and i can tell you, you wont hear nothing sound like a real valve amp.

   And btw, 5.1/2.1 for listening music just sucks. If I’d had to choice between 500eur 5.1-system and 500eur 2.0-system, I’d have the 2.0.

   I use speakers that have HD1 capability.Other advice, stay away from USB speakers.The reason the internal speakers is bad is because it’s a small speaker.I mean apple managed to fudge the headphones that come with the iPod. I use a set of JVC Marshmallows. Sony do some nice noise cancelling headphones too.I will say this thoughProps on the Harmon-Kardon Amp.

   Hey Eric. Cool to see you’re into hifi gear aswell. I’m just starting to get into it, saving up for a pair of Bowers and Wilkins 685 speakers, and a Marantz PM6002 to match.BTW for people who are looking for a pair of good, reasonably priced desktop speakers, the Creative Gigaworks T20′s are fanatstic.And yeah, Logitech suck (what do you expect from a company owned by Microsoft!), but their Ultimate Ears headphones arn’t bad

   Hell yeah, running the computer to the receiver is the shit. I run an opticalcable to my 7.1 system from my desktop. Can’t wait till I get a bluray drive so I can actually get 7.1 instead of 5.1.

   A smart folder is used to hold items that have a certain search query. If you want a folder that has items with the word, “music” in it, that “smart folder” will contain all files on your computer with the word ‘music’ in it. Go ahead and try it out for yourself by going to the finder, clicking on the FILE top menu, then clicking on “new smart folder” and then search for something in the finder.

    They’re better then any other headphones I have, and I only have speakers that came with my systems (i.e. they’re bad). I don’t see why iPod earpieces are bad, they work, and have good acoustics, and are loud.
